Celebrating 28 years in business, we reflect on our journey from humble beginnings to leading property managers.

In 1996, a seed of frustration planted the roots of what would later become one of Christchurch's foremost independent property management companies. Martin and Ann Evans, driven by their growing family portfolio and an unrelenting pursuit of excellence, took matters into their own hands. Little did they know that their venture would blossom into a thriving family business that redefined property management in the city.

The Evans' journey began with a simple yet significant problem – the lack of a property management company that met their exacting standards. Frustrated by the dearth of suitable options, they decided to build the solution themselves. Armed with determination, they founded the company in a modest office in Fendalton. This marked the birth of a venture that would soon transform the property management landscape in Christchurch.

With only a handful of properties under their care initially, Martin and Ann's relentless commitment to integrity and excellence set the tone for their business's growth. Claire managed the business for nine years before she slipped into stealth mode to care for their children, at which point Hamish took the reins. As the current managing director, Hamish has led the team into the future, growing the business and establishing it as a leader in the field.

While Claire remains in the background as a dynamic investor, she is now the ninja of behind-the-scenes action. Ever present, she brings out her inspiration for newbies, sprinkles her wisdom, and keeps our office plants hydrated as the chief waterer.

From those early days in a small Fendalton office, the company has come a long way. The constant pursuit of excellence led them to new horizons. The company has since moved to new offices on Fendalton Road, where an architecturally designed purpose fit-out was meticulously crafted to cater to their expanding needs. The new space reflects the company's commitment to innovation, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere for both clients and employees alike.

As the demand for their exceptional services expanded beyond Christchurch, the company made yet another strategic move. An office in Rolleston was established to cater to the burgeoning property market in the Selwyn District, encompassing areas such as Lincoln and Rolleston. This move demonstrated the company's adaptability and determination to provide their unmatched services to a broader audience.

Today, the once-modest office has given way to a sprawling workspace that houses a team of dedicated professionals. Their reach extends across the entire city, with many properties under their watchful care. Negotiating hundreds tenancies annually, the company's impact on the local real estate scene is undeniable.
